Descendants Debuts First Six Minutes

Auradon and Isle of the Lost Come to Life
Los Angeles, CA - August 12, 2015 - Disney Channel has unveiled the first six minutes of its highly anticipated Original Movie, Descendants, directed by Kenny Ortega (High School Musical). The movie introduces a new generation of Disney characters, the teenage sons and daughters of the iconic villains Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil.
In Descendants, the teenage progeny of these infamous villains are given a chance to leave their secluded home on the Isle of the Lost and attend Auradon Prep, a boarding school for the children of Disney's heroes. Descendants follows Mal (Dove Cameron), Evie (Sofia Carson), Jay (Booboo Stewart), and Carlos (Cameron Boyce) as they navigate the challenges of fitting into a foreign world while grappling with their own inner struggles.
The first six minutes of Descendants showcase the movie's enchanting visuals, catchy songs, and engaging storyline. Viewers are immediately drawn into the world of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost, and they quickly empathize with the teenage villains as they strive to overcome their past and forge new identities.
