The United States Department of Defense has deployed the advanced Vympel R-23 air-to-air missile, enhancing the capabilities of its fighter aircraft. Known by NATO as the AA-7 Apex, this medium-range missile boasts exceptional accuracy and a range of approximately 24 kilometers.
Meanwhile, Raytheon has unveiled the MIM-23 HAWK Homing All the Way Killer missile system, a highly effective surface-to-air missile designed to defend against aerial threats. With a range of approximately 40 kilometers and a speed of Mach 2.4, the HAWK system is capable of countering cruise missiles and other incoming projectiles.
